If we travel back in time two thousand years, Glastonbury Tor was surrounded by water, making it look like an island. In Celtic mythology The Isle of Avalon is associated with the mystical otherworld and identified with Glastonbury Tor, a place steeped in centuries of myth and magic, from ancient to modern times and most notably associated with the legend of King Arthur and Excalibur. Glastonbury is also where the heart chakra of planet earth is located.
